I must admit I really didn't know what to put in the subject line here...
I just wanted to first state that I am extremely impressed with the knowledge that some of you have regarding electric vehicles...well the scooters we're all riding (extreme XM2000, etc.) I am amazed at how much you all know as well as the extent to which you all (and you know who you are...usatracy, jd???, etc.) go to figure these machines out! I really have learned alot from what you post so please keep on posting!

Hello everyone I'm new here so take it easy on me.
Got my XB-600 3 days ago and finally got to ride it other than to work.
My impressions...
Top speed is 20mph on flat (I weight 155lbs)
Distance: rode 21 miles today (confirmed by GPS) and still showed 3/4 charge
I did not ride full speed. tried to keep between 10 and 15 mph. I did ride 7.5 miles uphill almost all the way, a 1000 ft climb to the continental divide with no problems. the return trip was much faster using my brakes to keep from going over 40mph.

Well, my xtreme xb600 arrived yesterday. Thanks to Articfox for providing tracking number , good customer service, etc.! Maybe it's just me...but I don't see how anyone can complain about these scooters. Wow...awesome...and just what I wanted beyond what I already have (Freedom 958, 36v,900 watt). The XB600 probably goes about 2-3 mph faster...cruising at around 19-22 on the flats according to the speedo...which seems to be fairly accurate. The scooter just feels very solid and looks great! And that whisper quiet ride...narvana!

I've just ordered the xb600 and so I'll let folks here know what I think when I get it. As far as xtreme...this will be my first experience with one of their products. But, if anyone saw my post about "cheap chinese scooters" then you know my feeling. I have had two of the "boreem" type scooters...but supposedly the "cheapest, poorly made" ones....Freedom brands. I've been totally satisfied with both. On my first 24v one the weld holding the steering broke. Lucky I was just barely rolling at the time!

I have been reading this forum for a while and this particular post caught my attention because I am at the point now of trying to decide what to do with my cheap piece of crap plastic XB500. I bought it to get me through my license suspension and it did that quite well but now I need to go faster. Can I over amp my scooter and go faster? I haven't tried that yet but a friend suggested I try it before I spend a lot of money on a new motor and corresponding new pieces of drive train to go with it. Any thoughts?

Greetings all,
I am planning to make a first purchase of e-scooter. This will be a learner ride and something to tinker with before I make a second purhase possibly this sumer or next March. What do you all think of an xtreme xb-508. I know they are most likely poor quality but my plan is to use it as a learner ride to play around with mods and not feel bad if I use it up the first season. Ultimately I plan to purchase a EVT 4000, Z-20 or something on that order.
