Hi ,
I am currently building a XB-600 with a Luyuan Bike frame. I bought a XB-600 motor, controller, speedometer and throttle then I started my modification. I managed to connect everything to make it work(thank to you VisforVoltage !) so I should be able to ride....But Extreme did not send the things needed to fix the motor on my bike.
I asked Extreme for these parts and they sent me the "XB600-160R Rear Break Assembly". This part number is only a "ready to mount" Drum brake. I still don't have any nuts or spacer to fix the motor on my bike frame.

Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums and have been researching inexpensive electric scooters.
I think I've narrowed my choices down to an X-treme Scooters XB-700Li or an AER E-800.
I've found a lot of good information on the XB-700Li and find it to have many appealing features at a great price. However, I do have concerns about build quality.
The AER E-800 appears to be built by Mountain Chen and looks like a downsized Zapino for half the price. A dealer in my area carries it and I would probably buy from him.
Any thoughts on which direction I should go?

I've been thinking lately how much I enjoy this bike and if it were to get stolen...how much I would miss it! Then I was reading the 700Li has an alarm so I was wondering if anyone thought about installing an alarm on their bike. What are your opinions? Think it's alarm worthy?

I wanted to try the 60 volt mod on my wife's XB-600 but realized that I'd need a 12 volt 20 amp battery to match the others. Then I realized that I had four new 12 volt 10 amps sitting right here for my Vego. So I simply wired two of them in parallel to get 12 volts 20 amps, then wired THAT assembly in series into the rest of the pack.

It arrived in pretty good condition.
The battery box the bottom is cracked and almost completely broken. I had to remove the batteries to put it in then reattach the batteries. The Left/front brake lever mounting plastic arrived broke. For now I have them zipped tied to hold it on until a replacement arrives.
I am extremely happy with the power and performance. Thanks for all your help in suggesting the 600. I am grateful to everyone. And I cant wait to get my bike modded up to 60v but that is going to have to wait for a while.

My first post so be kind.
My ride is a daymak Austin (XB-600)
I have seen the posting for the 60 volt mod and was hoping the following idea would work.
Under the seat of my ride is like this

Would it be possible to add a 12 volt source before the breaker?
----wire----(+12volt-)--breaker---

Anyone know the compatible mosfets for the xb-600 controller? I need to replace one and was wondering if anyone knew the correct specs.
Thanks
