Mars Electric ME0907?

I ordered a PMSM Motor ME0201013001 and I received a motor P/N ME0907.

Is this the same motor?

Are the characteristics the same.

Thanks.

I am sorry about the confusion on the motor's part number. This should have been explained before the motor arrived.

The ME0907 motor is exactly the same motor as the ME0201013001 motor, except that the ME0907 has an additional temperature sensor. The Temperature Sensor is located in the motor windings. Note that some motor controls, like the Kelly Control and the Sevcon GEN4, can use this sensor to limit the motor power.

I will add the ME0907 to the website today. The ME0201013001 motor will become obsolete and all new motors will have the optional Temperature Sensor.

If you do not need the sensor, you can cut the wires or leave the connector "un-connected".
