eGo Classic electric scooter charging issue

Can anyone tell me why the on-board charger on my eGo scooter stays on as long as it is plugged in? The fan runs, and the yellow light never turns green. The batteries show a full charge, and the scooter runs normally. Thank you.

There might be an issue with the charging circuit or components in the scooter. If the charger is not detecting that the batteries are fully charged, it may continue to operate the charging process.

Re: eGo Classic electric scooter charging issue

It sounds like your charger might be stuck in the absorption phase, where it keeps the batteries topped off. This can sometimes happen if there's a small fault in the charger or if the batteries are slightly imbalanced. I'd recommend checking the charger connections for any signs of wear or damage and ensuring the batteries are properly balanced. If everything looks good, you might want to try a different charger to see if the issue persists. Hope this helps!
