The original owner of my Vectrix had installed The Laird software running a Runke charger. The L dial has pack temp and voltage, but what is shown at the bottom of the central dial? It appears to be a continuous current voltage, usually 151 to 153, depending on temperature, but my pack never goes beyond 144V. Does the NiMH pack signal end of charge (such as rise in temp or drop in voltage) before it reaches that level, and if so, would a lithium pack go all the way to this level, since it has neither a voltage drop nor a dramatic temp rise?

Are you sure a Runke is installed?
the Laird firmware is compatible only with ESD chargers....
for nimh, The Lairds firmware usually has a target voltage of 145v
The voltage shown at the bottom of the centre dial is the target voltage for the charger - if the battery voltage reaches this value the charger shuts down on over voltage

I remember both "The Laird" and "Runke" being mentioned. I guess I'll have to "open 'er up" to see the charger - a Runke is gold, if I remember that much right.
