I modded my razor e300 and I was using 2 Ridgid 18v batteries, but it was only a test and I was using a switch, so I tried to fit all 3 of the 7ah batteries in to the frame without the plastic covering and I came across a problem, the 3rd battery wouldint fit because the frame is curved so at the very front of the battery housing is naroww. If anyone can help please post.

I modded an E300 to use 3 of the Milwaukee V28 batteries in parallel. Works great, and I'm able to use the stock motor controller. I get about 6.5 miles range out of it, and top speed is 15.5 mph. Weighs 37 pounds now instead of ~50, so I can check it in as baggage when I fly.
To fit the batteries in there I kept the plastic box, moved the motor controller to the side, and cut a hole so the heat sink was exposed to the outside air. I live in Phoenix so having the heatsink exposed helps alot in the summer. With the extra room opened up after relocating the motor controller, I was able to squeeze the 3 battery packs in. Had to take all the batteries out of their cases, and make a wooden deck to accomodate the heatsink of the batteries. Here's a blog post showing the innards:

I've put about 200 miles on the scooter so far, and it's performed fabulously.
Very cool. but you said those were 27v batteries and if I wire them in series I will get 54v and I need 36v because Im overvolting the motor.
