I was invited to participate on The Bryant Park Project on a segment about high gas prices. Not to spoil the surprise, but I was for them. You can listen here. (Link corrected 6/19/2008 - davew)
The BBP is a great show. Lighter and funnier than Morning Edition with way more music. Last week they had Alanis Morissette in the studio performing two tracks from her new album and doing a pretty cool and candid interview. They're not on many stations yet, but they have a podcast and full streaming. Two hours of morning goodness to start your day.
I'm having trouble finding it, under what category on the site is it listed?

Oh and by the way, I agree, the last thing we need is oil too cheap again, it just makes us drive around in circles in suv's all day. My only problem is the oil companies making record profits off my back the last few years. Untill alternative power costs less than oil we will keep using oil. I've had some big arguments with folks saying we need gas to stay at at least 3 bucks. The extra buck of greedy profit I do have a problem with.

Sorry about that. Here is the correct link. In a bizarre twist of fate I has involved with the BPP twice that day, and I grabbed the wrong one.
