There's been some prior postings here about the Triac.. Green Vehicles is a former ZAP dealer (see the Wired article that slammed ZAP's business practices) who is working to import a whole range of other EV's.
The Triac and Buckshot are both three wheelers but the specs currently say they're highway speed and have a tremendous range. They say now it's a 144 volt Li-ION battery pack with either 160AH or 200AH size. Uh, can you say "Thundersky"?
The last email I have from them (sent in April?) suggested they'd start production and/or delivering vehicles to the States in July 2008. July has come and gone and now the web site says September 2008. Hmm, this year there's that Olympic shutdown and mebbe it interfered with shipments and ...?
The Buckshot it a new thing which I hadn't seen before. It's a three wheel truck, not a reverse-trike configuration as the Triac, but one wheel in front like the Xebra PK. Unlike the Xebra PK the cab looks to be a bit longer with a crew seat maybe.

Keep us posted - the Triac looks interesting. 80mph / 100 mile range. I wish it were a 4 seater though. (I know, I know - I'm NEVER satisfied!)

That's a slippery slope y'know.. you start out on an EVT 4000 and after a couple years the novelty wears off and 30 miles/hr gets 'old' and you've got a driveway full of other vehicles and the EVT 4000 is parked in the garage gathering dust. Oh, wait, 'you'==me in this case. As PJD said on another thread, a couple years ago we were happy to get 30 miles per hour, and that was uphill both ways (in the snow) so eat your wheaties and be happy that's what you've got today young man. ;-)
Anyway, I should contact those guys again. Or since they're local to me I've been thinking to just drop by but I'm so busy.

On Tuesday, August 18, 2009, Ehab Youssef, CEO of Green Vehicles, stated on the Tuesday podcast of the EVcast that they are back on track, after 18 months of delays. The first shipment of 25-50 EV's (including Triacs) will be delivered to those that placed orders and paid a reservation fee. This will happen by the end of the year, with the first shipment as early as next month. When I get a chance I will go to San Jose to check them out and post pics and info here.
Their website, http://www.greenvehicles.com/, has not been updated with this exciting news. Today I wrote them an email asking them about the news and suggesting they update their website. Since the news is already a week old it seems that they could use a new 'webmaster'!
