I'm beginning planning for upgrade of my recently purchased EV Karma - 1971 Karmann Ghia and poured through the EV Album to look for similar cars. Fortunately there are lots of them that have been done already. It seems from the data below that simply adding a couple batteries to my existing pack would give more range/speed and make the car more livable. However the last thing I want to do is become expert on the care and feeding of flooded lead acid batteries. That is so 1800's (almost literally).
