The TTXGP UK 3rd round scheduled for Aug 21/22 had previously been announced to be at Donnington Park, and it was to coincide with the reopening of that race track. Donnington apparently is one of the historic tracks in the UK but had fallen on hard times. A new management team had formed to resurrect that track and they're planning a grand reopening late this summer. I was never able to find a definitive schedule for their reopening.
In any case it appears the track isn't ready and the TTXGP crew has selected a different track for the 3rd round.
It is unfortunate that these unforeseeable circumstances have occurred, but the TTXGP team are excited about another trip to Wales and hope that with a couple of weeks to go, the teams preparation for the race won't be hindered in any way and we can see an even bigger improvement in performance from the bikes. Hopefully the Welsh summer will hold out until the 22nd, although a wet race could level the field.
