Can LiFe batteries be used upside?

This question came out of a long thinking session. I realized that I was not familiar at all with the chemistry and the chemical properties of these batteries. Can they be use/charged upside? at a 45 degree angle? Are there any positioning issues I should consider before I choose the place on my batter to mount them?
