Last week GM and Bright Automotive announced a potential partnership where GM's newly minted venture capital arm would make an investment in Bright.
This week Bright Automotive announced hiring a new COO who has extensive automotive industry experience. Worked for 25 years at Chrysler leading manufacturing and quality teams. Worked for a year at Tesla on Manufacturing and Quality. Clearly if Bright is gonna be ramping up production they need someone on-board with the manufacturing experience that this guy has.
