Hey Guys
I have an electric motor that was working perfectly fine in one direction, now all of a sudden once and a while the motor will turn in the opposite direction. To make it go back in the proper direction I need to turn the power off then on again. I think the motor is switching polarity but how can it do that without being re-wired? Does anyone have any advice for me?

I'm guessing it's more likely a fault in the controller? Guess, though..
Is it a brushless DC motor? Or AC motor? Or brushed DC? What kind of controller?
