As a followon to the problem that surfaced last week (details: TTXGP Italy may be canceled or changed around or something - breaking news) where the TTXGP Italy series is being canceled .. the TTXGP folk have announced a resolution, of sorts.

The TTXGP Italy series is canceled, and instead they've created a TTXGP Euro series.
I've talked with a few people over the last week and learned there was a) trouble with the schedule (FIM scheduling races on the same weekends as TTXGP Italy races), and b) travel cost complaints, and c) not enough teams in Italy wanting to race (only Italian teams are CRP Racing and the Betti's).
The TTXGP announcement says that TTXGP Italy 2010 is canceled and that they appreciate the support of UEM, FMI and CRP Racing and look forward to working together to establish TTXGP Italy 2011. In its place is a two weekend four race series they're calling TTXGP Euro 2010.
The new dates for TTXGP Euro 2010 are:
Assen, NL - Sept 24/25, 2010
Brand Hatch, UK – Oct 02/03, 2010
Since a TTXGP Championship series is four races total, they're planning to have two races per weekend. I'm not sure how the scheduling will work but they're smart and they'll figure somethng out.
The race in Assen is coinciding with MOTO73 "The Race of Champions" http://www.smaracing.nl/index.php?mid=201 and the Assen track has a long long history and is known as "The Cathedrel". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TT_Circuit_Assen
The Brands Hatch weekend is coinciding with a weekend full of Superbike and Sidecar racing http://ticket.motorsportvision.co.uk/calendar/2010/october/101003-bmcrc-bh-.aspx
The Brands Hatch weekend is ALSO coinciding with the TTXGP UK Final, also being held at Brands Hatch. Not sure how that's going to work out. Does that mean they'll somehow run four official races (two TTXGP UK and two TTXGP Euro) during the same weekend while scheduling around the gas bike racing schedule? Not sure how this is going to work, and the TTXGP people are smart and seem to know what they're doing. I hope.
Azhar said this when asked: "They (TTXGP UK and TTXGP Euro) will run as separate races each with its own winners."
Which has me confused how they're going to work out scheduling with the track so they can run practice and qualifying rounds, one TTXGP UK race and two TTXGP Euro races, all in the same weekend as gas bike races will be held on the same track. Eek.
TTXGP says arrivederci to TTXGP Italy and heads to Assen with TTXGP Euro in its place
