DIY E-bike What e-bike or DIY kit fits this list?
I should start by saying that I know this list is probably impossible but I'll put these things out there anyway hoping to find a good balance. I've been riding a Currie eZip Womens Trailz Hybrid for several months now and love it. I'd like to upgrade and this is what I'd like to have:
Lightweight - I want to be able to put the bike on the roof, probably without the battery
Fast - 20 - 30 mph is fine
Long Range - LiFePO4 is probably the ticket
Ability to pedal without power, power without pedaling and both power+pedaling
18+ gears
Water-resistant
Regenerative controller - are these worth the trouble?
Easy to maintain
Quality parts to last a long time
So which bike or kit would you get?
