who can help new emax problems

can anyone shed any light on a few probs im having

the first one is the brake light stays on all the time. I made a few mods to solve this problem just for my own sanity but im only getting round the problem by running the brake swiches past all the electronics.im using them to brake the circut from the dc to dc converter to the light it seems to work ok i guess. back to the question what went wrong originaly it isent a wire problem so it must be a gray box prob can anyone shed any light

The second prob is that the amp guage does't work and like before all wires and swiches are ok. iv had the thing in bits and found nouthing and the readings on my dmm are just plain weard can anyone help cheers
