Hybrids just do not make any sence to me anymore

Okay so I had some time this morning to write up a quick entry for the issue that kept racking in my brain at 6am
this morning before I went to work. So had to jump on the forum of course and write a blog about it! :?

The issue that I am dealing with is about Hybrids and how they are still half gas/half electric.
Why is it that electric vehicles have been around since the 1800's???? if it seems like we have the technology
and resources to build them and sell them and take less gas vehicles off the streets, why isn't this happening??
I have been pondering over this all morning.
I of course understand that this will take quite some time for this to happen.
Just why isn't more and more of it happening? Does that make any sence ? :?

And like it or not, you are going to inhale them...

Personally, I prefer the "Fish & Chips" variety from recycled cooking oil!

Instead of pouring various oils down the drain many households could collect that stuff in a grease trap; then process it and use it in plug-in hybrids.

Add some herbs and essential oils to get the scent of your choice....Designer fuel.

The amount of (currently wasted) cooking oil would probably be enough to fuel the occasional trip beyond the electric range of peoples plug-in vehicles.
(Let's cook some fries, we need more fuel for the interstate trip to aunt Mary next Weekend...)

There is always a way if there is no other way!

I know it sounds silly, but remember the movie "Back to the Future" I think it was the second movie toward the
middle of the film where Doc said "I need fuel"! What does he do? he starts digging through their garbage cans
and throwing in garbage on probably what was the fuel processor thingy that was located on top of the DeLorean(GMC) Wonder if we could use that in internal combustible engines, would we maybe be less dependency on oil that way??
Though using those types of oils could possibly have a negative affect on an ice, hrmm.

Movie line from the first Back to the Future film

Marty McFly: Are you telling me that this sucker is nuclear?
Dr. Emmett Brown: Hey, hey, hey. Keep rolling. Keep rolling, there.
[Marty looks through the camcorder again]
Dr. Emmett Brown: No, no, no. This sucker's electrical, but I need a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity I need.

Oooh found this link to be interesting check it out
