things in the works

well here we go again

I've been finding I can go quite far
if I am willing to go at slower speeds

ya get use to zippy speed and when you
have to go slow speed in traffic it rily drags on
I know I use to peddle faster when i was on my mountain bike
in some case even the bike bike was slow because of the limited Gearing

I've also frigged out that the motor should have been more high powered magnet based
as in the ware 2 apostatizing magnets make things move instead of
power being applied around a magnet to make it work

with this option a one small battery would have got things going and the
new motor idea would have generated power for regarding the battery and powering
things as in much brighter head light and a trailer with lights

Thus giving the bike unlimited distance or relly being affect by weather
even an option for providing heat for the user would be available

and quick speed would be there all the time cutting down on the time it
would take to get some ware

the one idea I had for connecting the new battery was to put anther connection plug
in the battery box , basically it was not a completely bad idea but I would not say it
uses any more wire than the second thought I cam up with

the thing with the first though that it seemed silly to put a connection through the box

using the second thought I would get a plastic electrical box
and it would be easier to set up mutable connection for battery's
put on a trailer or in this thought my new Lifepo4 battery which would be on the bike of my bike

the box that I found will give me space on top for a solar panel so I can charge the battery
I am not using and change both battery's if I stop some ware giving me extra driving distance

too bad the new battery is nearly 45 pounds and the box is self is about 3 pounds
but for the extra distance I go it's worth the trade offs

Don't you think ?

thats all I got for now I hope that this inspires others and provides a thought or two ;o)

in general, a powered magnet motor will expend ~3% of power applied in running the field magnets.

Therefore, changing to permanent magnets only yields a 3% improvement in motor efficiency, meaning the battery can be 3% smaller for the same range.

by all means, change to permanent magnet, the every improvement is handy, but don't expect to get away with a significantly smaller battery.
