no battery pack needing a battery pack

Good morning everyone,

Had the opportunity to dismantle the the bike a few days ago and found out that there was no battery pack in the Vectrix Scooter. That would explain the no charging problem, anyway moving on. My question would be does anyone have a battery pack for sale that I can purchase to replace in this bike complete assembly please let me know and how much it wold cost?

how many volts/ah is the needed battery pack? I have various battery packs (used but in good shape) and chargers.

The Vectrix scooter uses NiMH batteries with a manufacturer-claimed life of 10 years and 1,500 recharges.[6] The 125 volt battery pack has a capacity of 3.7 kW·h and can be recharged to 80% in two hours from a standard domestic power socket.
Here is a link from the forum taken with photos of the 2 battery packs and dimensions.

sorry, I can't help you. I thought you had a reguler scooter. they usually require 48 or 60 v.
that's a fast bike and the battery pack appers to be half the cost of it.
maybe you can attach a pair of 60v lithium and run them in series. the manuf. or vendor is going to try to gouge you on the stock type replacement parts. is nimh rquired?

Here is a link that a brilliant tech showed me what they were doing with the bikes there in Australia he created a video tutorial on how to convert. I dont think it really matters lithium or Nihm but it does come stock with Nihm I am willing to change over if it can work maybe go faster. It is rated comparison to gas at 400cc bike suzuki burgman or tmax .yamaha majesty

lithium type of batts don't always like regenerative braking charges or trickle charges. That's what I've read. They typically do tolerate fast bulk charge, however. 48 volts lithium is about 59 v when fully charged, then it drops to about 53v and stays put for a while. So with 120 v lithium, you would have about 132v for the most part.

ok sounds good how much do you sell them for. what's the quote for the setup? Do you accept paypal? Here is my email address Doultonevans [at] hotmail.com

Again: Better post this in the Vectrix forum, you would likely get more good replies!

There is always a way if there is no other way!

I generally don't sell. I have my own battery packs.
