one convert 12 volts to 36 volts and anther version that dose 12 volts to 48 volts
this means that it takes less battery's to do the same job with greater traveling distance

my only concern with the "deep sycle" is how much more of load the battery
has to deal with and if it will last the life of what it should posted for the battery

but with all that said and dun with the current 4 batterys that come with the bike
my travel distance go's from max 32 km to 64 km for 1 battery just buy it's self

so 4 gives me 256 km of distance on a single charge

or I could go with 4 heavy lead acid to get about the same distance at 70 amp hours
