Hi!
It about potted BMS boards found in cordless tools packs.
How do you remove black compound from around components on the board.
Like Milwaukee V18/V28 packs.
I tried twice to scrub spongy black stuff , but it is pain to clean even half of board of these black stuff.
I want to tap wires to the SOC LEDs on the board.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

My limited experience is that potting is very difficult or impossible to remove unless it is all surface-mount devices - nothing with leads.
