Valence Technologies now has what they call a 'third generation' of their battery system. The brand name is 'Epoch' and these are clearly automotive sized batteries. From the outside they look like 12v batteries and are in boxes having standard shape/size/terminals.
For example their group 27 battery has 122 AH, 12.2x6.8x9.2 in, 18.6 kg / 40.9 lbs, discharge max continuous of 200A and max over 10s of 500A, charge rate can also be very high with continuous charge rate of 120A.

I think you have to contact their sales team for that. A couple years ago I asked for prices of U-Charge batteries and was given a price over $2000 / battery. That was 2+ yrs ago and perhaps since they're doing larger scale production it's a lower price today. However in the FAQ I noted some answers saying approximately that since the technology & their production are at the beginning point of scaling up production this makes the price higher than it should be later when production is at a bigger level. I checked into four Valence U1 40AH batteries from Josh at runabout cycles a couple months ago.
They won't fit in the battery boxes of my e-max but I believe they would be drop-in replacements for the EVT or EVT America motor scooters.
The price was $750 each, plus a couple hundred more for the BMU system.
Is that $750 X5 plus $200 X5?
No, only one BMS is needed for a pack - up to a large number of batteries. Actually I don't remember the price of the BMS, something on the order of a couple hundred dollars.
