Re: 6kw Adult size E-ATV with 2 hub motor drive

6kW is excellent. Is it geared so that it can make us eof that power and pull a lot of weight? e.g the Gorilla Vehicle (www.gorillavehicles.com) only does 10mph max but can pull 4000lbs!

The batteries still need covering. An electric quad needs to be immune from splashes. Also standardised wheel nuts all around would be useful. I had a 4000w with different wheel nuts on front axle than back axle? From the factory.

Are the hub motors in the wheel not an issue with driving into water? I like hub motors myself but obviously a quad is a special kind of vehicle. another good comparison is the GEO from Italy. www.geoquad.it. In mass production. Pricey but very well engineered.

What real-world figure can be given for towing range for this 6kw quad? It would be a great machine for doing work around a farm but would need to be able to pull a trailer and attach other implements. Are there plans for making use of the 12v system to run other accessories? Like a standard atv can.

Thanks

Do you have any videos of the ATV riding through wet and muddy terrain? I must admit to being wary of using an eATV in the sort of harsh environment that the customers of regular ATVs are used to.

Hello Wiggo,

you've had your samples a while now. Can you give us an update on performance of the 6kw atv?

Here is an ATV being promoted from Canada and through agents in the States by an outfit called ElectroWheels. These are online for almost a year now. May have been revised since then.

Anyone know much about this company and the provenance of these atvs?
