Sticky Lashout Thumb Throttle

The 5K Thumb Throttle on my Lashout Scooter is getting a little "sticky". When I apply even, increasing pressure, it jumps in tiny steps. If I take my thumb off too slowly, it sometimes does not go all the way back to zero. Two days ago, I had a very nice, super-slow-speed cruise control.

What's the easiest and safest way to clean this and get it working silky smooth again?

Appreciate any and all advice.

Harlow

Simply spray the spring with WD-40. :)

Thanks lyen, I'll give that a try.
