Where can replacement batteries for the old E-Max be found?
I read someone say that e-moto scooters were clones, do they use the same batteries?

The E-Max originally used eight 12V 20AH silicone gel batteries. You can them from http://www.siliconebatteriesusa.com/ as model SP20-12 http://www.greensaver.cn/en/Product/manage/upload/picupload/sp20-12-.jpg .
The E-moto scooters appear to be the same scooters and will likely use the same batteries (except Retro model only needs four instead of eight.) I would contact E-moto first or just disassemble the scooter and take a look for yourself. http://www.e-motosport.com/electric-motor-scooters.html

But there is no need to get silicone batteries; their performance is really no better than ordinary SLA's. Compare the silicone price to good quality SLA's like BB EB20-12 or EVP20-12 and get whatever is cheapest.
