Re: somebody please help me

Is this a X-600 or an XB-600?

check the throttle. It is a variable resistor the controls the volatge to the controller which in turn controls the speed of the motor. It should be 0 to +5V (or less). Zero at no throttle, +5V at full throttle. My Zapino only goes
to +4.3 max voltage. So if throttle is stuck on, it is sending voltage to the controller enabling the motor. This has
happened to others with different make scooters.

Re: somebody please help me

it is an x 600. the stand up kind. and why is the fuse popping. even if the throttle was held open the fuse shouldn't pop, right?? or would a faulty throttle possibly pop the fuse. by the way , i also replaced the throttle when i changed the batt's , cause the throttle was broken. i should have done one thing at a time so i could diagnose problem easier. thanks, any help please...

try getting bigger fuses like if you have a 20,20 get a 40,40.

Unhook the throttle cable from the controller and turn it on. If that fixes it, it's your throttle. If not, it's your controller. Make sure that the rear wheel is spinning forward. If it's going backwards, the battery is wired backwards. This happens sometimes. If it's your controller, it's probably a mosfet. If you want to send it to me, I can repair it, but I would charge you $20. That might not be worth it if they are cheaper online.

I bent my wheel, broke my trans, and blew my motor. Now I cry a lot.

I know back a few years ago I had the misfortune of having a controller on an old Schwinn Missle do just as you described, but it was caused rain that got the controller wet. The thing went ape snot across the driveway into a pile of sleeping bags launching it into the garage wall.It would have made a great poltergeist or a scooterheads' Christine movie. You didn't mention water, but it's something to consider if all else doesn't pan out.
