[YouTube] You know him, you love him...

Gary Peterson demonstrates the wireless transmission of power for the crew at kVA Effects while Modern Marvels shoots "Mad Electricity" inside.

Operating at 117.02kHz? Does anyone know anything about 108kHz?

Hmm, I saw something like that in a tech mag once. It was basically a coil you plugged into the wall. There were other coils around that had the same resonant frequency. The idea was that they would achieve a decent inductive coupling because of that. I haven't seen or heard anything else about it, but it's not like I've looked.

And, no, I don't know anything about 108kHz other than that it might screw with my radio reception. :/

"resonant frequency" - that's what it's all about. Imagine a high powered one transmitting electricity from Long Island to California at 98% efficiency. I've heard it could be possible, and with no harmful effects - unlike NASA's attempt in the 1970s.

If only Tesla would have gotten more funding... :(
