I'm ordering a red Vectrix, but there seems to be two different red colors available - bright red and dark red. Is this true?
Can anyone post a big picture of bright and dark red real world colors, please?
I think, this is a dark red, am I correct?
I have a red Vectrix and it does appear to be a deeper shade of red than that picture.
I cannot be positive because pictures can be deceptive depending on the lighting.
Based on my opinion, I think that picture is the light red. Mine seems darker to me.
Although looking at the Vectrix website, there are only 4 colors. Grey, Green, Blue and Red.

Yes, but if you look at the UK's site:

There are two different shades of red.
Interesting! Any idea why there are two reds offered?
Personally, I'm happy with my blue Vectrix, though I might have picked yellow, if that had been available. Hmmm, blue, yellow, ... maybe I should join the Strathclyde police force and ride one of these: http://www.strathclyde.police.uk/index.asp?locID=1192&docID=5026.
Our police uses white BMW motorcycles.
If I wasn't so crazy for red color, I would have picked the white one, so the other car drivers would fear me :D and drive nicely and/or slow down.
Based on the UK website shades of red, I am sure that I have the darker shade of red on my Vectrix.
I am fairly confident that mine was manufactured in Rhode Island.
So: there are defintely two production places, Rhode Island and Poland, is this right?
This is the color of red I want:
Is this the same color as the picture above, except that it's sunlit?
I guess this is a dark red:
AndY1, the bottom picture looks like my dark shade of red. I don't think it is just the light. There is a definite difference there.
I agree. The bottom one looks like Wine Red. I don't know about the 3rd one, but I like the first and the second most. Maybe the 3rd one is the same color as the first and second, just the lighting is different.
Color changes are easy...
Just for fun,
