Has anyone put new tyres on their Vectrix yet?
Any experiences with brands other than Pirelli?
What mileage did you get before replacing the tyres, how much tread was left?
Do other tyres feel any different?
Etc, etc, etc....

I've not yet replaced my tyres. I did happen to check the prices last night online for the same Pirelli's, which came to less than US $110, including shipping and taxes. Myself, I usually go with the same brand and model as the OEM supplied. I've had no reason so far to think I won't be getting the Pirelli GTS23 and GTS24 tyres when the time comes.
I don't know what the recommended tread depth replacement limit is; I'll look around and see what I can find and report back.
I'm not sure if these are tubeless or tubed tyres. The valve stem looks like it's tubeless, but I'm certainly no authority on how to tell the difference.
I've just checked the Pirelli's on my Vectrix, and there's no sign of wear bars in the treads on either tyre, so it looks like it's going to be by measurement that I'll determine when to replace them.
Given my conservative nature, esp. in regards to safety, and the relatively low cost to replace, I'll probably put new ones on well before reaching 1/32 in. remaining depth.
Look carefully in the grooves of the tyre, there are, but they are not so high.
After 10500+km I'd say they can hold a few thousands more.
Ah yes, I see them now. Thanks for correcting me, duca. I see the wear bars on the rear tyre, but I've not yet spotted them on the front; I'll keep looking.
