Okay, I just went out and bought a Protek Model 6300. So now you guys can have dual temperature, current, volt, sound, lux, frequency readings till I'm blue in the face (since just counting bubbles isn't good enough for some). :) Anyway, this is my third multimeter, but this one didn't come from RatShack.

This DMM is proof that my tongue is not calibrated for checking voltages. Sorry.

Readings:
Tap Water: 120°F (48°C)
Voltage: 30.00 DC (no pulse)
Amperage: ≈0.590
Watts = Volts x Amps = (17.7 watts)

Wired for test:

Note: I've noticed a large amount of chlorine gas being put out by this thing when using regular tap water. I've also noticed discolouration and have found rust on two of the SS plates. I would strongly recommend sticking with distilled water.

Re: Water Fuel?????????

Browns gas is very cool stuff. And very expensive stuff, since it's made of electricity. Just as soon as nuclear power is too cheap to meter we will all have browns gas generators in our garages. Hey wait a minuite, wasn't I promised electricity too cheap to meter by the year 2000? I can't belive it! I was lied to in grade school! And now that I think about it, where's my jet pack!

HHO is called “Browns Gas” cause it was discovered by Yuri Brown in the 70’s. And this guy is using a 220V outlet to make this, it consumes far more electricity than the gas creates by burning it.

Check out this article of someone in South Africa. Maybe it's worth looking into...

Unfortunately, I had to put this on hold while I changed occupations and locations.

Currently running the [unmodified] Duster on E85. Eventually I'll try to combine the two.
