Toyotron Hunter

Wow! For the equivalent of only $1750 USD, I'd get one in a heartbeat if I could figure out a way to get it in the US. The performance spec seems fine for my daily commute. Plus, I love that exo-frame tubing! :D

Anyone have more details on the Toyotron Hunter? Any ideas on how to get one in the US? Thanks in advance!

Re: Toyotron Hunter

I like it. It's sure got the Honda Big Ruckus (or old Tote Gote) look to it, even to the grab bars in back. In fact, I'm thinking the prototype was an electric conversion of the Big Ruckus. That format lends itself well to an electric, with all that low area in the midsection for batteries.

I looked at the Toyotron site (http://www.toyotron.com/), but couldn't read the parts written in Thai. What battery tech are they using, anyone?

That looks similar to gas-powered ones I'm planning to sell:

mc60150yellow.jpg

Already in the USA, but temporarily sold out.

Hi ArcticFox!

Already in the US?!?! Really?!?! What name is it marketed under here in the US?

Any plans for the electric version, i.e. what ETA? :)

In the meantime, can you provide any details on the gas-powered version you're planning to sell?
ETA? Price? Displacement? HP? Colors? etc.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Toyotron Hunter

Well, I discovered a "source" for the electric Toyotron Hunter over on another thread - http://visforvoltage.org/forum/4411-5000w-electric-motorcycle

If you contact wsbruce, he'll send info about the Toyotron Hunter (aka Zongshen E-Scooter) in various battery configurations including Lithium. :)

His email address is available at http://visforvoltage.org/forum/4411-5000w-electric-motorcycle

So maybe there is hope for the electric Toyotron Hunter (or something like it) here in the US :)
