What I've done is use LED lighting they carry at auto parts stores. Because small scooters & bicycles aren't regulated so tightly it's not necessary to make sure your lights are DOT certified, unlike on a motorcycle. And at the auto parts stores they have many LED based marker lights and accent lights. Low power, bright, long lasting, what's not to love. If only there were DOT certified LED headlights...sigh
Anyway, the units are 12 volts apiece. What I do is wire them in series to match the pack voltage of the vehicle. A 24v vehicle, wire two in series, a 36v vehicle, wire three in series, etc.
At Kragens they carry a white light bar they call "accent lighting" but to my eye it's a perfect headlight. My bicycle has three of them stacked on a bracket dangling from the handlebars. For tail-lights the bicycle has three red marker lights, on a bracket, dangling from the cargo panniers frame.
The headlights are bright enough to read a book by, and even light up the road to a decent distance. This is totally unlike the dinky bicycle lights that are usually used. I figger, if I'm gonna carry that big battery pack I might as well carry a significant lighting system. Why limit the bicycle to dinky lights?
Yeah, I have been looking at the same thing, so for example if I'm running at 48v, I just need 4 12v LED.

I have seen on gas scooters a head light pair that flashes left then right as you go along. Have you come accross anything like this that would work on the EV bikes
I found an excellent LED 12V 32 head lamp ! I am thinking of puting it om my byke got it on ebay and now have this Co. (ledwholesalers.com ) the bulb is a MR16 size 1203ww and 1203wh "minispot" Dia. slightly less than 2" with 2 prongs at the back there are 2 warm white 35000K and bright white 50000K . Here in wisconsin you have to have a light that can be seen 200ft away and if I replace that little running light on my 3500Li byke , with one of these ,I won't have to waste energy on the head lights during the day !! What lumens are those? Would you run 4 of them, or do you have a DC-DC converter? What is the beam angle?
Hay boyel. , I have a big 350Li byke with dc-DC converter I only need one to satisfy dot. the beam angle is suposed to be 15 Degrees and the lumen liights up the back of the garage with the byke 100FT. away in daylight so they will see me coming !
