Max speed of my XM3500Li is 40.5MPH or 65.2KPH
But the speedometer reads 90KPH at this speed.
A bit of a difference. I used a Garmin GPS to determine my speed.
I'll be checking the batteries next. Should be 70.3V if each cell is 3.7V.
Particularly the voltages across each cell. I heard of dead batteries
on arrival. So I'll post my reviews here.
I'm not happy at the max speed test, as I was really expecting 55MPH!
So if anyone has the great fix, please let me know.
I'm already thinking about replacing the speed controller with a programmable one, like here in this link. Might be worth the extra few bucks to get around certain design limitations.
What are your thoughts?

Oooh... hi-res piccies! Thanks! Can you maybe get some in a semi-scenic location or against a single-color backdrop by chance? Just looking for a good, hi-res desktop background for my computer. ;) Those are all good for showing the folks who've been asking me about the scoot I have on order, though. Thanks a ton for sharing!

My next opportunity. I'll see what I can do.
Might be a good idea.
Of course there is always photoshop for the weary.
What range do you get? Would you mind writing a review on WikiPik about your XM-3500Li? The XM-3500Li reminds me that it's important to independently gather the real world performance of these bikes as opposed to blindly trusting the manufacturer propaganda :-)

Oooh, pretty blue Precious.
Where'd you get the blue one? Are you in the UK?

I´m in Sweden, got a red one as well, post some pictures of that one later.

Thanks for the photos Johnny.
Are you actually buying these from Xtreme? or from a dealer in the states? or are the X-treme stickers just factory remnants?
I imagine with the low dollar it's still a bargain to buy them here and ship them to Europe/Scandinavia ??
Have fun!
Ross
No these come directly from China, almost all trading from there is in USD.
As you say the stickers are just factory remnants, they propably put them on all..
Thanks for all the wonderful photos guys. It was nice to see them while I waited for my own scooter to arrive.
I stumbled upon the FAQ for the Go Store who sells the scooter. They have a FAQ1 for customers, but there is also a hidden FAQ2 for dealers only, which tell them about giving "the hard sell customer" an additional 10% discount on line 21.

I didn't want to post this website until I was able to comfirm for myself the discount is for real. I was able to reduce the $3999 price to $3599.10. With the $50 home delivery fee, my total cost was $3649.10
They will play coy if you ask for it. But I was very persistant and wouldn't take "No" for an answer. Don't reveal the website to them, because once they learn it has been compromised they will remove it. I'm sure that me just making this post could get it removed.
Happy New Year
