xB600- crappd out after 2 weeks

Hello everyone, I found this forum aftr trying to figure out how to take the governor off of my XB600, and I found my answer. Unfortunately now I need an answer to something else, lol, how to get the bike to work again....
I actually purchased the bike off of a guy who use to post on here, and he wont write me back to help for whatever reason why. So now I come to the community for help and hopefully soemone can help. So here we go: The bike was perfect for 2 weeks and about 3 days ago on my commute home from school (1.4 miles) I slowly came to a stop to safely let a bike pass on the sidewalk right by me, I opnly used the right brake to come to the stop and after the biker passed me, I attempted to start moving again, and he throttle was non responsive. The bike had a full charge and everything on the bike worked perfect(signals, lights, etc etc) and the battery still showed it was a full charge. Now I have not the first clue as to any of the wiring talk or any of that, so I need some serious help
;-) anything anyone?!!?

Thnks

Each brake has a throttle interrupt switch in it. The one in the brake you pulled may be stuck.

check if brake light is on. That would indicate the switch is stuck.

Hi,

That throttle interrupt switch is in the brake lever and is connected to the controller.

Also check if the rear wheel as spun in the dropout. This is a common problem on xb-600, and your story is very similar to other.

when you brake to let pass this biker, the force applied on the body of the bike may have cause the motor shaft to spin on itself and cut the wires to the controller...

This problem with extreme bike is largely mentioned on this thread

have fun with extreme suport !
