It is an EV ... This is a student project, they ran it in the World Solar Challenge 2007, on the project site they list a bunch of measures about how they were able to drive this thing across Australia using only $33 (?australian?) in electricity and end saying "It makes petrol look silly."

Now THAT puts the Sparrow and NMG to shame! :-)

It'be even kewler if they cam with a snap on windshield for open air "convertable" driving.

I would drive that to work and back every day. Great looking and all the economy in one package. I hope someone sees this that has the backing to reproduce it for the masses.
