I have had my share of problems with my XB700Li and experienced mixed results from Alpha Intl/Xtreme customer service. I enjoy hearing both positive and negative contacts that one has had with a product or vendor, regardless if they were a drop-shipper, end user, etc.
Sorry on last post I actually wanted some feedback on the XB 490 a nice looking little scoot. Is it practical or too small for around town?
I would do some research into X-Treme / API first, before buying anything from them.

Badger, I was curious about the xb 490 and called X-TREME (Alpha Products)and was told it wasnt available? Have you inquired? Randel Hanford Ca.
Yeah it seems its discontinued.
I saw one advertised on an Irish buy and sell website (www.buyandsell.ie/search/quick_search?search_term=electric+moped&category[id]=All+Categories&x=14&y=12. From a Sean King on kingse [at] o2.ie So i did some googling and came across them on Craigslist http://dublin.craigslist.org/mcy/1002368194.html. They're coming from Canada and according to this Canadian website http://gogreenelectricscooters.com/electric_mopeds_and_bicycles.html, they're discontinued or out of stock and were priced at Canadian $700. Nice mark-up for Ireland. €1200 yoyos is $1545 USD. You would wonder about the backup warranty on discontinued models.
