Two Motors - one problem

...Have two 5032 crystalite motors for my trike - and I want the disc brakes to be on the inside...so, it means one of two things... simply spinning one motor around - to run "backwards" to the direction arrow, or swapping the cover plates around.

Is there anything that would prevent me from running one motor in reverse to the direction arrow on the cover?? Are the motors set-up to go slower in reverse - or is this managed by the controller??

Please help!!

Re: Two Motors - one problem

I beleive if you hand push the wheel it will spin free one way and show a drag in the other way ?? if so than you can not reverse the motor as it has a free wheel mechinism in it LaTeR

thank GOD I wake up above ground !!!!

Re: Two Motors - one problem

I've heard that you change the order of the three big phase wires to reverse a motor. You'll have to find the correct order by trial and error.
