Can I replace my controller and throttle with the controller and throttle from a similar voltage Currie product? I know that the throttle I have now would have to be replaced because it doesnt have as many wires as those Currie throttles, but are there any other concerns? I have a stock 800w 36v great white E36 made by rad2go. I was kinda thinking I could replace it with the controller from one of Currie's 1000w scooters. I know very little and would appreciate any help I can get....Thanks a bunch.

It depends on whether the Currie controller is also for a brushed motor.
I used to own a rad2go e36 and IIRC it uses a brushed motor. The way to tell is to look at the wires going to the motor - if there are only two wires (as far as I know) it is a brushed motor. I've never owned a Currie scooter and dunno what kinda motor they use. It's easy to mix and match brushed motors with controllers for brushed motors.
As you seem to be thinking - the throttles also have to be compatible.

Okay, so it does only have two wires, so it is brushed....I think the Currie stuff is brushless, not sure, I am just trying to find any replacement. Where can I buy a new controller for this application? I have found several possibilities, but they all appear to have too many wires coming out of them when compared to my current dysfunctional controller. It sounds like any controller for a brushed motor would work as long as it runs properly at 36v and is able to put out 800w to power my beast's motor? Would one of electricrider's sparrow controllers work? They are brushed motors. Am I at least getting on the right track? Thanks for helping out!
and how do I know what kind of amperage my motor is pulling? So I know what other controller would give me the same power/speed. Thanks again, I really do appreciate all the advice and info.
Having recently browsed the two sellers I mentioned above I know they both sell controllers for brushed motors.
Watts = volts x amps
Hence the amps for 36 volts @ 800 watts is 800/36 = 22.2222 amps
You're looking for a controller in the range of 25 amps. If you want higher speed then look for a controller with more amps.
Another option is this:
