I have 2 S350 scooters I received for a really great price... 1 12 pack of beer... BUT they have problems... I was wondering if anyone can help... One I will deal with later as it doesn't even move the wheels and I believe it's probably something major... but 2 of them for a 12 pack... couldn't say no...
Anyway...
The S350 that runs... If u pull the wheel off the ground, naturally it spins quickly... I am not sure if it's spinning at full speed or anything but it seems to move fairly fast... BUT when I put weight on it... It will BARELY move at all. and when it does it seems to just putter out about 10 feet after it starts moving... This is annoying. I guess my main question is... Do I need a battery? motor? Controller? Or just some tweaking? ? I am new to this so bear with me. I do understand electronics very well and I know I could fix this on my own I just need to be pointed in the right direction. The on light lights up fine and everything seems to work... I have charged the battery for about 9-10 hours before use and though the bike seems a tick stronger it's still to weak to even be ridden.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

Support V is for Voltage
The amount of power going to the wheels is too weak to move you ... There are several possible causes:-
I'm guessing batteries since the wheels-in-air performance sounds like it's okay.
A gizmo like this lets you load test a 12v battery to see how well it performs under load. Generally you check batteries based on voltage, but a battery might appear to have a good voltage until you put a load on it. e.g. such as the difference between wheels-in-air and riding the thing

Another way to test that is with wheels-in-air to apply the brakes.

Hell yeah! Thanks Dave I'll get a battery tester and check it out... The guy who gave them to me told me it was a battery issue but... He also doesn't know his arce from a whole in the ground... So I figured I'd ask someone who knows. Also... IF it is a motor... What is a stronger motor for more speed I could bolt up to it?

Also can you better explain what the controller does? I mean does it just route the power to needed items? and what are the chances this is the problem?
I forgot to say... the units are about 1 1/2 to 2 years old... Im not 100% sure... and the guy said they sat in a storage for a long time with no charge and when he pulled them out and charged them they woudl just putt a long till it stopped completely... You think thats the battery? also is there a stronger battery I could get for longer run time? Sorry for blowing it up but I have a feeling im ganna love these things and I am pumped about getting them running...
Bingo.. that's a well known tried and true method of killing SLA batteries. It's better to at least charge them up once a month or so.

I also recently acquired one of these and had a dead battery. I am trying to see if it is worth fixing. I hooked it up to a 12v battery and the tire spins right away. This is with the throttle disconnected. This is the
way I received it. With it hooked up it does the same thing. I am thinking that this is the reason why it was disconnected, because the controller went out and he disconnected the throttle thinking that this was the problem. Anyway, just wanted to make sure the 12v battery test was not misleading me and making it do this.
