circuit breaker switches off by itself

Has anyone encountered this with their R30 or Z30? I just got a new R30 and on my first relatively long ride, the circuit breaker automatically switched off several times. This is quite annoying and possibly dangerous since it leaves you immobile in the road for a minute.

Turns out my circuit breaker was defective, and EVT is sending me a new one for free. Their service man Andy is very helpful on the phone.

Was this happening after you had come to a stop and then tried to go again? On the last two days when I was riding to work, my bike has shut off after I stopped at a stoplight. When the light turned green and I went to accelerate nothing happened. I had to turn the key off and then on to get it going again.

This happened to me on my xm3500li and it turned out to be the brake switch sticking. I did the same thing only after a couple times when I cycled the power it didn't work. Then I finally noticed that the brake switch was on. It was just a matter of loosening a screw and adjusting the position of the switch. Also I remounted my breaker horizontally because then hard bumps don't cause the contact to chatter. I never had a problem with mine but read about others experiences. Hope this was helpful.
