Went to Toronto, Ontario on the weekend to a place called A-Z Sources. They sell a no. of different e-bike models. The one which caught my eye was called the Babylonian 500 watt. This model looks identical to Volt Canada`s "Dream Rider" and the XB-700. l have rode the Dream Rider and thought it was okay, however after riding the Babylonian l was sold. After cracking the throttle l was floored at the speed at take off and the torque on this ebike. The suspension and handling were the best l have experienced. Fit and finish top notch, colors black and candy red. l kept telling the owner this can`t be a 500 watt motor, but it is. Folks l have test rode many e-bikes this one for the money is tops. Now for the price $1,499 cdn, includes a free helmet, lock etc. Worth checking out! l will be picking up this bike tomorrow will keep you posted.

Yep, looks exactly like my XB 700Li, except for the paint of course. However, it uses the old SLA batteries. Do they not offer the Lithium packs in Canada?

Thanks, it is a great scoot indeed. Lithium batteries are not often offered on the e-bikes here in Canada. From what l hear it is pretty big bucks to get the lithium battery here. So you have lucked out big time my friend. Enjoy the XB 700 Li as well.
