and and turned it around/ twisted the bulb and the light comes on dull
and is not meant to go this was and the rear brake light doesn.t come on i carnt seem to find any obvious faults ??
but i have checked the first thing was the switches. on the break leavers
they seem to be fine but i am reading 12 volts at each side of the leavers on the electrics

so to be clear, its only the indicator that is always on?

it is likely to be the control circuit for the indicator relay, or the relay itself that has failed (or both)

i dont know where that is on the 110s ( i havent pulled my 90s apart yet), but thats what you need to look for.
trace out the wires from the indicator, which ever box they go to, thats what needs replacing.

Have you checked the sensors at the brake leavers?

hi yep they show 12v+ then when sqweezing the break lever the voltage goes to 00.00 thats with
both so would presume that all ok at this end but carnt seem to find any fuse box as such
seems to be when connecting the rear bulb like a short but keeps on like an arking but light keeps on
so might try prosses of elimanation my be pull on of the three wires off and do bit by bit
in the fillament bulb both fillaments are keeping on i/e rear tail light and rear brake light aswell same time
its got me so far seem simple but as always need that last jigsaw pice
???????????????thanks kev

Maybe the brake levers controll a relay that sends the actual voltage to the light, and it is stuck on. Built into the conrtoller maybe?

hi yeh. chears for that. urm
what i have just done is cut a the green /and yellow positive cable going to the rear break light .
and i have the rear side light working .but when i touch the wire that i cut it makes a big arking blue spark
and then the rear break light comes on aswell as the rear side light
some thing seems not right ..????????????

You should really look into the sensor/switch that engages the brake light when you push the brake. try cutting the wires (2) to the circuit that the switch would normally break and see if the tail light goes to normal, then try putting the wires together manually to see if the break light comes on. If so then you need a new relay/switch/sensor (whatever you want to call it) :)
If its all in a controller you may need a new one. Hope this helps.

On this bike, what are all the things that turn the brake light on?

R and L Brake Switch, ...
Kick Stand, Motor or Controller over-temperature or Fault?

Was it working correctly?

If so, did somebody make any changes, or, this just started all by itself?

Eliminate one source at a time.
If you disconnect both brake switches and it stays on, it must be something else.

hey gary i have had too leave the scooter for a little wile as
some time when you have been working so hard to try to find a fault its best to go away and
think about it a diffrent way and with what you have just said .
by jove that might be it the scooter has a side stand and may have a switch on the side stand and keeping on if so .should be a quick fix
keep finger crossed . i will hav a good look tomorrow .thanks kev
