ZEV 3600

I'm getting ready to purchase an electric scooter. I've been lurking around here for a little while and doing internet research. So far my top choice is the liberty ES3000. However, I just came across the ZEV 3600 but I can't find much information or reviews about it. Is anyone here familiar with this bike? Any impressions or information would be greatly appreciated. Likewise about my initial choice of the ES3000.

Do you have website links for any of these?

ZEV 3600 - http://www.zelectricvehicle.com/5.html
ES3000 - http://www.iloveebikes.com/es3000.html

I was told that the ES3000 is made by Mountain Chen for Liberty.

Re: ZEV 3600

The ZEV3600 looks to be the same import as the EM3500 or EM5000 from ILoveBikes http://www.iloveebikes.com/em3500.html

By the specs alone they all look like great town bikes. I don't think I would take them on the freeways here in California. For me, the ride is everything. Electric vehicle performance will be different for different weight riders. There is also the size of the bike. It is sometimes hard to tell from pictures how big (or small) a bike is. This may be important if you are 6 feet tall and riding a bike that would fit your ten year old.

Case in point, I just saw a GPR-S from Electric motor sport, they are alot smaller than I thought.

Do your best to know what you are getting before you lay your money down. Get a test ride if at all possible.

Re: ZEV 3600

Which one did you end up getting? I just emailed the folks at Liberty, about the ES3000li, and it does not have a BMS integrated into the battery pack yet. They had previously said they were working on one, so, I'm not sure what the outcome will be.

Anyone else have thoughts about the ES3000? I can't get it right now, but I still keep leaning that way.
