Since it's a brand new model, an "experience base" seems unlikely. I would assume no better quality than an X-600 or any other of their scooters. Which means you should expect sub-standard hardware and assembly quality.

The price of $290 (Buy it Now) seems reasonable, but need to consider shipping and how to make returns if necessary.

I'd like to see the written 5 YEAR warranty... Maybe it applies only to the batteries? (3) 12volt 12 Amp batteries that can handle 1200 charges ???

I'm put-off by their many "absolute" claims: "The most powerful electric motor ever made", for instance.

I'd like to read the Time Magazine that referred to this being a "Rolls Royce"...

Probably would be a fun scooter, just don't buy it based on the seller's claims only.

yeah ive heard about their past stuff. but on one forum a former bladez xtr compii user said he owned one and his friend and recommended it for the value.

just wasnt sure about the build quality.

im thinking about either getting a goped 750 ex hoverboard

or a schwinn full suspension and modding it.

or even a bladez xtr comp ii and modding it but not sure what is more cost effective

i want 24-30 mph speed and durability and ability to modify if later i want more speed and cost effective

The turbo-charged 800W electric scooter just seems like alot of marketing for a china import. I really don't trust the folders for durability. It is a good price, but you will get what you pay for.

The goped hoverboard looks interesting, a little suspension, I notice the price doubles if you want lithuim batteries.

I currently have a Zuumer from zuumcraft.com. It may not have suspension or fenders, but I can tell you it is a fun ride. and It is cheaper than an equivalent powered goped.

I do love how there are so many options these days though.

Re: any reviews on this scooter???? NEW 2010 TURBO-CHARGED ...

It looks like utterly bogus marketing to me.

Technically, a turbo uses engine exhaust to drive an impeller, pushing more air into the combustion chamber. Since an electric scooter has none of these things, the word is meaningless.

My electric vehicle: CuMoCo C130 scooter.

i talked to the guy who recommended it and he has some experience with goped and bladez and modifying the bladez etc... he said this scooter is better built than the previous one that got bad reviews on youtube. he said this one was equivalent to the bladez xtr quality from his experience. So i think im going to try this one out.

This is based on my experiences with the old X-treme models

Pros: Cheap, easy to work on and easy to mod, uses widely available 'standard' china scooter parts, bullet-proof MY1020 motor, reasonably durable overall, uses cheap and widely available SLA batteries.

Cons: Some REALLY crappy parts (mostly just the fasteners), very heavy, ugly (especially compared to the Gopeds), uses cheap and very heavy SLA batteries.

Check it out I have had this exact scooter for about 7 months.Yeah I have had alot of problems. I'm a big guy at 220lbs.
on a full charge it goes about 10 miles. There is alot of design flaws when I first bought it the back brake caliper rubs so hard against the tire it started shredding rubber off it.the light on the scooter lasted about a month, could never same type bulb. Now if the chain isnt perfectly calibrated its hell.Real pain in the ass.I finally got it down to a science but it hasnt been easy.etc.etc.if you have any other questions let me know

Mauromanhattan, how did you fix the brake caliper rubbing issue? When I bought mine I had the same problem like yours. I fixed mine by swapping the disk brake around with the sprocket. One side of the wheel assembly is slightly longer than the other side. I used a wise grip to loosen the bolts in the disk brake and sprocket and than allen wrench to do the rest. I think there was an assembly problem with mine and yours. My friend bought 2 and both of his had no rubbing issue because they had the disk brake and the sprocket correctly located on the wheel assembly.

I modified mine to 1000W and it's fast and fun to ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuBFuk08Urw
