Today I've taken again some pictures of my vectrix's recharging process.
One thing caught my eye again: the bluetooth icon! It switches on and off quite randomly during the recharge.
In the beggining, when the bike stopped sending energy to the battery ( due to cooling - transition phase) the icon always turned off, but during equalization it started to behave completely random.
I have a pair of questions:
Has anybody ever seen the bluetooth icon turned on in your vectrix?
Any idea why does it turn on?
thanks!
SW bug.
Do all the vectrixs have a factory installed Bluetooth device/antenna ?
No, none of them have any bluetooth HW, the icon was for future use.
Thanks for the comment.
Cheers,
R
Do you know, what the bluetooth was actually ment for?
for a helmet with headset, so that you can use your phone. cheers

But if you have a Phone with Bluetooth and a helmet with bluetooth and headphones integrated, what do you need bluetooth in the Vec for???
The Bluetooth wireless systems was intended to be for diagnostics and communication with the Vectrix's system. I imagine that you would be able to reprogram your bike's acceleration parameters and things like that with a click of your bluetooth celular... Really interesting...
If you have a BT enabled phone why not use it to search devices when your icon is on and see if there is a signal. At 2.4Ghz there would not be an external antenna to look for on the bike. it would be built in.
just a thought.
Happy scooting,

Unfortunately, as X-vectrix says, Vectrix has no bluetooth HW istalled. Despite the icon is on, it does not exist any bluetooth radio to transmit data.
I've tried it, but my phone and my computer could find no device. Just a fake...

There's no bluetooth antenna, you can't receive any bluetooth signal from your vectrix.
So you've tried it... You mean you are experiencing the same bluetooth icon "syndrome"? Anybody else have ever seen this bluetooth icon on the vectrix's display?
