Re: EV converstion Mazda2-An ODM company's working
This looks great!
Can you tell us more specs?
Size of battery pack (in kWh)?
Constant and Peak power at motor shaft?
What are you using for the gearbox?
Estimated conversion cost?
etc. etc.
Don't tease us - tell us more! ;-)
Really - this is one of the most exciting conversions I've seen for a while. Much kudos to you guys.

Re: EV converstion Mazda2-An ODM company's working
Matt,
Thanks for the link. Do you know if any have been sold? Also, do you know if the Australian company did the development work or the Chinese company above did the development?

Re: EV converstion Mazda2-An ODM company's working
The Australian company did the development work (of picking the parts)
The motor and controller is manufactured by another company (i forget which)
The batteries are just supplied by sky energy.
The motor is a fancy hybrid of two types of electric motor, its both permanent magnet and induction motor.
Basically that motor was choosen for efficiency and power-band reasons.
ok got to ask when can i order..?
and what is the cost thanks .kev
