battery wiring diagram

I accidently burned up all the wires leading from my 6 point toggle switch (made by nikkai of Japan) Since I had to clip the still burning wires off in order to put out the fire and because the wires burned so thourougly as to be unable to distinguish which goes where (now looks like a giant spider with wires coming out of toggle switch.)
Anybody know how to wire this up?
It has the six point toggle switch with some wires joined together and some wires then go to the four batteries and some to the plug which connects to another plug when i drop the battery container into its place in the body of the bike at my feet...
No electricians that i call are willing to part with any advice whatsoever?!!

Re: battery wiring diagram

Not entirely sure what you mean by "six point" toggle switch. I'll assume 6 electrical terminals? If so, it sounds like a DPDT switch that may be a two-position or three-position (if it has a center off).

You said you have 4 batteries. Is your bike running at 48V, or 24V? Might be a switch to change from one 24V pack to the other. No way to tell from your description. Could you post some clear, close-up pics of the switch and the wiring you cut. We need to know where every wire goes that you cut. Trace it to the next component.

What bike is this in?

Have you determined what caused the original high-amp draw that melted everything? Accidental short? Why did the fuse not blow?
