Probably against forum rules to advertise things for sale - so to be clear this is not a for sale ad, this is for guidance only.
I have a Vectrix VX1 with 7,000 miles on it, good condition with no problems (apart from brake issue which is being fixed via warranty at the moment)
I may need to sell this thing soon, currently I am trying to work out how much it is actually worth...!
Besides that, is the best sales route by Ebay for the UK?
I am not sure about Autotrader as I can't be arseed with loads of tyre kickers who just want to see what an electric bike looks like, coming round to waste my time...
I would hate to know it was against a rule to advertise a Vectrix on this board, but at any rate, be aware that there are MANY scam pros out there watching those AutoTrader and Craigslist type venues. Ebay would likely be your biggest circulation for a modest cost. If there are any EV gatherings or shows coming up in your area, put that bike on a truck or trailer with a full charge and show up with a for sale sign on the windshield.
I would imagine that the resale market for these bikes is going to be quite painfull to the seller. If it's in escellent shape, it's probably worth half what you paid for it, but it might be hard to sell it for that.
Best of luck to you. At least being in the UK, you're in a more EV savvy area. If I tried to sell mine here in the States, with only 2500 miles on it, I'd probably have to PAY somebody to take it! :-(
If you look at the list of forums on VisForVoltage you find a section at the bottom of the list grouped under the "Marketplace" banner. Those forums are titled with phrases like "Dealer Deals" or "Sell" or "Buy"..

That would likely be the case here in the U.S. as well. Honestly, we could probably do better by parting out a perfectly good bike, rather than try to sell it in one piece.
It's probably best to just hang on to them.
IIRC Marcopolo estimated that it cost about US$100,000.- to make each VX-1 !!!
