Most electric powered bikes are over $1,000. This one is under $500. Is it worth taking a chance.

I haven't ever ridden one - but have looked at one. Currie has been in the business for a long (LONG) time. The bike appears to be good quality and of course their length of time in this market should result in a good quality design.
A quibble is that specific model uses lead-acid batteries. That technology is very old school, the batteries will have a limited life time, and have more weight/kilowatt-hour than equivalent lithium-ION batteries.

Thanks. It is a lead acid battery. I was thinking I would change after a while.
