I just fried my charger (my bad, it was a raindrop) and desperately need a replacement in Palo Alto CA. It was a QSC4231; 110vac, 2.5A in;48VDC @ 2.6A out. It's for an X-treme XB-600 with 48VDC lead acid (20ah). If anyone's got one to spare between San Francisco and Santa Cruz please ring my cell @415 272-1293 or email (slower for me) roblyn8 [at] hotmail.com

Have you tried eBay? TNC scooters, and your local scooter shops. Most carry the Teking brand 48 volt 2.5 amp chargers and they go for under $50.00 bucks. There is a list on VisforVoltage some where of a lot of distributors of scooter parts. I have put chargers in plastic zip lock bags and moisture seems to fry a lot of mine too. Others got fried because of heat in the bag. At least with eBay they have tons of 36 and 48 volters and slim on 60 and 72 volt ones.
